I bought this on a recommendation for my 13 week old lab puppy. It has been a life saver in our open plan house. We can fence bits off as it opens out into a huge gate. It is really sturdy and stands up well on its own. So good we bought another one. We have it along the terrace balustrade and it has stood up to the Spanish sun beating down on it all day and the constant hosing of the terrace. We couldn't live without it. It is bit small for a playpen for an average sized puppy but if you have a small breed it would be excellent but as a fence or gate to section a room or cover an opening it is brilliant. Used this for several weeks as a long barrier to prevent 10 month old reaching our log fire, TV & audio system. It can slide on a wooden floor but have used mats beneath it that prevent any movement. Have to use provided Allen key to prevent joints twisting but this allows it to form any shape. Our child is now attracted to the barrier as he uses the barrier vertical poles to climb onto his feet & stand up & it is very important for the barrier to be secure. Very pleased with purchase. Joints have good degree of movement to form different shapes so it can be formed into a playpen, room divider, etc. Gate is secure for our child & cannot be opened easily by children - have to pull latch horizontally & lift at the same time. Gate swings in both directions so we can put logs onto our fire. The 6 sections fold up on each other for storage. Did not screw end fixings in wall but have used 3 bungies to hold barrier - 1 each end & 1 in middle - obviously the bungies have to be attached to something secure e.g. AV unit.

With our 9 month old baby now crawling and driving us to distraction we've created a safe play area where we can be with her (as well as trying to baby proof the rest of the house as much as possible!). The gate system arrived promptly, was well packaged and the instructions are clear. Only slight negative is that the gate/door catch could be more robust, but it seems okay at the moment. We've stretched the 3.8m system across a 3.2m gap so there is a slight bend in the fence which helps its stability. It is not rigid but we didn't expect it to be, but it is strong enough to withstand a baby pulling herself up with it.

I bought this room divider for my dog. He has orthopaedic issues, and this is perfect to stop him jumping up in the sofa. I haven't fixed it to the wall yet, but it is still really sturdy. This will also be really useful after he has his operation to enclose him in a small area.

Excellent quality, fairly easy to put together, I managed to put it together how I wanted it without any male assistance! It's sturdy, I removed two of the panels, as we are using it as a barrier to prevent my into everything toddler from reaching the tv. It also served as an excecellent Christmas tree guard last month. The instructions were fairly easy to work through. You have to either use it as a play pen or a guard/barrier as you have to tighten the screws to keep everything in place so it would be a bit of a pain and probably too much hassle to swap from one use to the other!

My dog had a knee operation and had to be caged for 7 weeks :( This was ideal. I had it open against the wall which made it longer so could accommodate her bed etc. It will also be great when I move house as the hallway is quite wide, and this will be great as a doggy barrier as it can just be opened right up, fixed to the walls and you have the gate in the middle. Very versatile.

The baby penwas delivered quickly. First thing to say is that the instructions with the pen are absolute and complete rubbish at best. They are truely awful. The playpen itself comes in a set of six (6) linked frames of bars. One (1) of these is a gate. The enclosed "pen" is created by joining the two unattached ends together or by attaching said ends to a wall or similar. The instructions as to how to do so are useless and I have decided to join the ends with bungee cords or cable ties. A simple quick solution. Overall, bar the instructions, the pen is well made and will do the job intended. Better £ value with other suppliers. I hope that this review has been of assistance to you the potential buyer. Voll und ganz zufrieden, hatte vorher ein Kamingitter eines anderen Herstellers bestellt, was erstmal beschädigt geliefert wurde und mein 1,5 Jahre alter Sohn beim zweiten Versuch schon die Tür offen hatte die ja eigentlich kindersicher sein sollte. Habe mir dann dieses Gitter bestellt und kann sagen, dass mein Sohn selbst nach Monaten immer noch nicht weiss wie die Tür aufgeht. Von daher klare Kaufempfehlung.
