This toy is beautifully made. It is bright and colourful with no sharp edging so is safe for little hands. It comes with the story book of Noah Ark so adds more life to the toy for little ones to understand the background whilst interacting with the toy. What disappointed me is that the whole concept of Noah's Ark is that the animals went in 2 by 2 so that they can go forth and multiple after the flood but you only get one of each animal. Why? This could be easily fix rather than having two pieces per animal they could make each piece a little bigger and paint the two 'elephants' etc. next to each other. Such a shame as I really think they missed the mark with this one.

This is a lovely wooden noahs ark , it comes with a variety of animals and other figures these can be played with as a shape sorter on the side or independently as play pieces. You can also use the string to thread some of the pieces too. The lid off the ark so that you can play with the animals inside.It comes with its own storybook to tell the story of Noah’s ark , my grandson’s on the 18th months might be slightly too young for him, but he loves playing with all the pieces

This is a review of “Wooden Noahs Ark Toy Animal Playset, Baptism Gifts for 2 3 4 Years Old Boys Girl, Lacing Beads, Shape Sorter, Montessori Noah's Ark Toys with Bible Story Book for 24 Months Kids”, currently priced £26.99. I like the design of this toy in terms of the shape sorter holes and an ark that comes apart to store more compactly. I do find it slightly strange though that Noah was allowed to bring 7 family members, and the birds and the lion were allowed to bring a mate, but the zebra, hippo, giraffe, elephant and crocodile are on a solo trip. The main thing I remember about the story of Noah’s Ark is “the animals went in two by two…” so surely they should all be in pairs?! The main disappointment with this toy is the finish – see photos. It arrived with paint missing from the ramp and the rainbow, several of the animals have “bumps” on their surface, and there is excess glue visible on a number of pieces. After this toy was played with for less than 30 minutes the paint was coming off additional areas, including the side of the ark. The worst part is one of the two screws holding the ark together has been put in at an angle so does not fit flush with the surface like the other one does. This toy claims to be suitable for children two years and to be played with by such young children it really should be better finished and more durable.

This wooden Noah's Ark is finished to a high standard which is always important when toys are made of wood that there are no rough edges and everything is lovely and smooth. Paintwork is really nice and bright, All the animals and people are painted on both the back and the front. Is simply put together in a few pieces. You get the bottom of the ark, Then there is the top house part and finally the rainbow that fits on top. They all come apart easily and children will enjoy rebuilding the ark again and again. I love the little rainbow ramp too much the rainbow on top of the Ark, When you are tidying up almost everything fits inside the ark, You turn the house upside down and it Fits inside the board part, And almost everything fits inside the house. The only thing I found strange was that there isn't that many animals and there is loads of people??? I don't know why there's loads of people. On the bottom of the Ark it is a shape sorter and you can push the animals through each of their respective slots. You also get a threading cord included with a wooden end that you can thread the animals onto as they have a hole through them. This is great for encouraging dexterity and hand eye coordination. This is a really nice toy, It would make a lovely present and it's nice quality and good value.
