This product is extremely good for the price, nice sounds, activated by hitting/pressing the instruments on the mat, the included drumsticks are a nice bonus, especially for the child, who will most likely find other things to hit with them, my only complaint is that the mat, in my opinion, is a little small in size, it looks like it's bigger in the picture, which is what stops me giving it a 5

Absolute rubbish, so I got this for my great grandson who will be 1 beginning of January but no way am I giving him this, do let me explain, I got it today and thought I'd check it out, popped in 2 brand new batteries and off I went, let's start with the drums, you have to hit the things that hard you can hardly hear the drum sound over the plastic sticks hitting the plastic sheet, now the piano hahaha right so there are a couple of dead keys, and when you press a key it plays all by itself, now of course you have other instruments you can play with the piano part like a violin THAT SOUNDS LIKE A PIANO, A SAX THAT SOUNDS LIKE A PIANO, AND A HARPSICHORD BUT GUESS WHAT ? YES IT SOUNDS LIKE THE PIANO, now when I say piano I'm using the term lightly I should say a monotone badly tuned piano. To sum up although my boy is not quite 1 I think if I gave him this he would never smile at me again, so I think I'll bin the mat and maybe give him the box and the sticks because the box sounds better, and 1 last point and this could infact be very dangerous the battery compartment should have a screw to hold the compartment door on is missing and the door to the batteries is very easy to remove. My honest opinion is this if you have brought this item DON'T GIVE IT TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE or even like.
