Bought to keep my dog out living room when I have visitors for my newborn but that she can still see through as she hates being trapped behind a door. This will do the trick well. We haven't screwed them into the wall as don't feel we need to yet, it's pretty sturdy, would take a big bash to knock it but we will screw if needs be in future. Gate shuts fine. We found it confusing at first as the spindles in all 4 corners didn't screw in they just went in freely which didn't seem right at first but it must be as it's tightened fine haha. Would recommend , good price.
